Business As Mission blog cover

We have a special BAM Canada team podcast episode for you! Carrie-Anne BallantyneAubrey Tozer, and Abigail Stearns look back on 2023 and share about what's to come in 2024!

Take a listen here. 👉

Looking Back

You may notice a first change off the bat something's different— Abigail is hosting this episode! This may be a more regular thing come next year as Carrie-Anne will be off on maternity leave starting Q2.

As for highlights in the year, Carrie-Anne mentioned how she appreciates all the people behind the scenes that have helped move BAM Canada forward. These amazing people include previous team members, summer students, and all of our Champions here on the Network!

Aubrey's highlight was this successful year of Round Tables! It was a first for us as we themed the quarters to line up with the Quadruple Bottom Line, and we believe this was a great move.

Our Round Table events allowed us to learn from the expertise and stories of Canadian and non-Canadian Christians and we loved being able to provide that for you here on the Network.

Speaking of stories, this year featured the launch of the BAM Canada Podcast!

This was Abigail's highlight because the podcast offers a medium for people to share their stories of living out missional business and inspire others to do the same.

Looking Ahead

We're anticipating many events even just in Q1 of 2024 including the Workers on Our Knees prayer day on January 24, BAM Vancouver's Conference on March 1, and the King's University BAM event on March 2.

And how could we not mention that we're launching OUR FIRST Missional Business Bootcamp in March!

This will be an in-person event as we are partnering with a local church to teach business leaders about the implications of whole-life discipleship and vocational stewardship.

It's safe to say that we're SO excited about ALL the good things taking place next year! (This was only mentioning things in Q1!!)

We love gathering Canadian Christians passionate about missional business and we can't wait for this work to continue in 2024! 🚀

What are you most looking forward to next year?
