What We Believe

Books, pencils, laptop, lamp, desk

If you’re reading this, welcome. Exhale and release that tension in your shoulders—you belong. We get it.

We know what it means to be a believer in business—whether working on your own or for someone else—and to feel the weight of a compartmentalized life, aching to integrate it into one holistic expression.

We believe in whole-life discipleship and that business and the Kingdom of God are not at odds.

So, who are we?

BAM (Business as Mission) Canada officially launched on March 1, 2021. As an Network and team, our heart is to foster a space for like-minded believers looking to meet, dialogue, and collaborate with others living out the intersection of business and faith. Whether in Canada or abroad.

We believe humans were designed for community, with dreams, visions and goals to further God’s Kingdom. To bring heaven to Earth in this unique way.

And that’s exactly why we launched the BAM Canada Network, an online social platform (like LinkedIn— but without algorithms, extra subscriptions, and connection requests) to bridge the perceived  divide between our God-given gifts and His Mission for our daily lives.

We believe that business has incredible potential to serve the Kingdom of God and further the Gospel.  We believe work is sacred.

And we believe God uses all avenues of work  to further His Mission—and we get to engage no matter where we find ourselves.

  • Are you an entrepreneur or business owner?

  • Are you an employee of a business  or organization (Christian or not)?

  • Are you a student peering into the future of possibilities for the workplace?

  • Do you work with or pastor any of these people…?

Likely, you find yourself in one of these bullet points—because while we aren’t called to the same roles and responsibilities, we are all called to work.

You’re in the right place, and we’re excited you’re here.

Our goal is to provide an avenue for leveraging your thought leadership and career growth, to engage your personal and spiritual formation—all the while giving you the space to collaborate and do the journey with other Canadians looking to do the same.

That’s precisely what you’ll find in the BAM Canada Network—and we’re just getting started.

The best is yet to come.
